Supreme Court Maintains Decision Regarding Arizona No-Bail Law

In October, the Supreme Court dismantled an Arizona law that denied bail to jailed undocumented immigrants. On November 13th the Supreme Court denied Arizona’s request to stop implementation of the ruling and it is unlikely that they will revisit their decision on the matter. Cecillia Wang, Immigrants’ Rights Project Director for American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), hopes that Maricopa County, Arizona will accept the decision and move forward.
