The Immigration and Naturalization Service has awarded a $539 million contract to Wang Government Services to provide desktop management and network support services to the agency over the next five years. Want will manage more than 24,000 desktop computers in 750 US and international locations. Wang will provide immigration officers 24 hour, seven day a week support and four-hour return-to-service maintenance times. Wang currently has annual revenues of $1.3 billion so the INS contract will constitute a significant portion of its revenues.
