Dear Readers:
Apologies for combining two issues in to one this month, but we are in the middle of overhauling our web site after many years and it is a massive undertaking. The good news is that the project is almost finished and the new site will debut this summer. That will coincide with the 20th anniversary of Visalaw.com as well as the 20th anniversary of Siskind Susser, PC – Immigration Lawyers (as well as the 20th anniversary of my marriage – it was a very busy summer!).
I’ve also been pretty busy for the last several weeks and have spoken at a number of conferences around the country. I presented a panel about the 20th anniversary of Visalaw.com at the American Bar Association’s annual marketing conference which was held in St. Louis. I also spoke to the conferences for the American Immigration Lawyers Association’s Minnesota and Georgia chapters as well as at the Federal Bar Association’s annual immigration conference in Memphis.
And in firm news, we were pleased that several of our lawyers were listed in Who’s Who in Corporate Immigration Law including Ari Sauer, Elissa Taub, Lynn Susser and myself. I also was listed separately as one of the top ten immigration lawyers internationally. The link is at http://whoswholegal.com/news/analysis/article/31331/legal-marketplace-analysis-corporate-immigration-2014/.
And my colleague Lynn Susser received the honor of being named by Harvard Law School for inclusion in its International Women’s Day photo exhibition. 60 women were honored including the justices on the US Supreme Court.
We’re looking forward to getting back on our regular publication schedule and also debuting new content features when the new web site debuts. Stay tuned for more information.
Regards,
Greg Siskind
