The Electronic Embassy web site (http://www.embassy.org) is a simple site,
but one that provides an important resource on the Internet. The site features
a directory of all of the foreign embassies in Washington and links to the web
sites of many of these embassies.
If you ever need to have a passport replaced, get a no objection letter for a J-1
waiver case, need to get a birth certificate for a green card application, or ever
need to contact an embassy for any other reason, the Electronic Embassy page
is worth a look.
A number of United States embassies and consulates throughout the world have
web pages that provide valuable information for those who will be processing
visa applications abroad. Links to all of the online US embassies can be found
at http://travel.state.gov/links.html.
If you are trying to find an embassy in Canada, Yahoo! contains a directory of
foreign embassies in Canada at http://www.yahoo.com/Regional/Countries/Canada/Provinces_and_Territories
/Ontario/Cities/Ottawa/Government/Foreign_Embassies/. Array Development also posts a directory of diplomatic officials in Canada which can be found at http://www.arraydev.com/commerce/embassy/english/.
